Launches fail in the last ten days, not the first ten. The work exists, but the sequence does not: files are unfinished, messaging is still in a doc, the website is a week behind the announcement. A playbook is simply an agreed order of operations.
Lock story before surfaces
We freeze the narrative — audience, offer, proof, ask — before we multiply layouts. If the story is still moving, every banner becomes a rewrite. Producers protect this freeze the way art directors protect a colour system.
Ship in layers
Layer one is internal: sales deck, FAQ, team language. Layer two is owned media: site, email, social kit. Layer three is paid and partner. Trying to do all three on the same afternoon is how teams burn the brand they just paid to polish.
After launch we schedule a two-week quiet audit. What did people screenshot? Where did they stall? That audit becomes the next design brief. Momentum is not a feeling. It is a calendar.
