Last updated: 27 August 2026. This Privacy Policy explains how Lauren Porter Design (“the studio”, “we”, “us”) treats information when you visit laurenporterdesign.com, send a form, subscribe, unsubscribe, or request studio work. We designed this site to keep as little as possible. There is no account database and no server-side cart.
We believe a design studio should be as careful with people’s information as it is with a brand’s files. This website is static. Forms are validated in your browser. Cart contents live in local storage on your device. When you submit a form, the page shows a confirmation message. In a live production setting the studio would receive the same fields by email; this demonstration does not transmit them to a remote processor by itself. Either way, we only want the details required to reply or to honour a subscription choice.
Depending on the form you use, you may type some of the following:
We use this information to answer you, to prepare a proposal, to deliver a project, to send studio notes you asked for, or to stop sending those notes. We do not sell it. We do not rent it. We do not trade it for advertising.
The shopping cart uses your browser’s local storage so you can add packages and check out without an account. You can clear it by emptying the cart or clearing site data. Search terms you enter in the header search are used only to filter the shop page. We do not use this site to run hidden trackers, advertising pixels, or cross-site profiling. If a future version adds an analytics tool, we will update this policy before it goes live.
The current site does not set marketing cookies. Technical cookies or local storage may be used by the browser itself to remember cart contents. You can block or delete stored data in your browser settings. Doing so may empty the cart.
If you subscribe, we will send occasional studio notes about design and marketing craft. Frequency is modest. Every marketing email will include a way back to the Unsubscribe page. Project emails about an order you placed are operational, not newsletters. Unsubscribing from studio notes does not cancel an active project conversation.
The site is intended for business customers and adults making professional purchasing decisions. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child provided personal details, email us and we will delete what we hold.
We share information only when we must: with a producer or contractor bound to confidentiality who is helping deliver your project; with a payment provider you choose after we send an invoice; or with advisers if required to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims. Hosting providers who serve this static website may process technical logs such as IP addresses as part of ordinary web traffic. We do not authorise them to use those logs for their own marketing.
People visit this site from many places. We work with clients across regions through email. We do not claim a single headquarters on this website. Wherever you are, the same rules in this policy apply: we collect little, we use it for the reason you offered it, and you can ask us what we hold.
Enquiry emails are kept for as long as needed to respond and, if we work together, for the life of the files plus a reasonable archive period so we can reopen a brand system later. Newsletter lists are kept until you unsubscribe or the list is retired. Cart data remains on your device until you clear it. We do not keep payment card numbers on this website because cards are not collected here.
No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure. We use reputable hosting, limit who can read studio inboxes, and avoid collecting data we do not need. You are responsible for the security of the device you use to browse and for not sending secrets through the public contact form. Do not put passwords, identity documents, or payment numbers in project notes on this site.
You can request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we do not need it for an ongoing project, invoice, or legal duty. You can unsubscribe from studio notes at any time. You can stop using the site. To make a request, email hello@laurenporterdesign.com from the address we would recognise. We may need to confirm it is you.
We do not use automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects. Package recommendations on the shop page are simple filters you control.
The site loads webfonts and icon libraries from public content-delivery networks so pages render quickly. Those providers may receive your IP address as part of a normal file request. Social icons link to networks we do not control. Read their policies before you interact with them.
Photographs on this website are natural studio and lifestyle images selected to show real creative work in context. They are not watermarked stock placeholders. People appearing in photographs are not endorsing a medical or financial product; they illustrate the craft of design and marketing.
When we change this policy we will update the date above. If a change is material — for example, if we introduce a new processor for newsletters — we will say so on this page. Continued use of the site after an update means you understand the new version for future visits.
Privacy questions: hello@laurenporterdesign.com. We do not publish a telephone number or postal address. Email is the official channel for privacy requests so there is a written record.
